Kathy sent a message to say what good value Susan Norwell is at a conference and is so pleased you all enjoyed listening to her. I am wondering if you have noticed a difference in the girl's confidence since your appointment with her?

I don't know if there has been any change in Samantha but we certainly give her more choices and are trying to give her more opportunities. I am reading to her more and her school certainly has a new understanding of her. Samantha is enjoying a new selection of books. I managed to get her a copy of "Don't let the pigeon drive the bus" and she really enjoys it. I also got her "The Wonky Donkey" which she likes but her favorite at the moment has to be "Hairy Maclary from Donaldson's Dairy" Collection and we have hired the DVD which has subtitles so she can read along with the story.

Dear Debby
How wonderful to hear that Samantha is able to communicate better since the visit of Susan and using the ideas she gave you.
A number of the parents want her to come back. We will have to report to her on the homework !
